Sinister is a 2012 supernatural horror film Produced by Jason Blum

Plot
Ellison Osborne is a true crime novelist and recently he moves in to a new house with his wife, Tracy and their two children Ashley and Trevor. The four members of previous family in this house murdered and Ellison keep that as a secret from his family. That incident is the base of his new book. There were five members in that family and one of the children missing after the murder. And he found some Super 8 footage's from house attic and in first film the murdered family playing in the backyard of the house. The video then cuts to the video that shown the family's death. In other tapes all depicting families murdered in various ways. After he seen these tapes strange things begin happening around the house.
